CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

JADE

I watch as Hunter cuffs his feet to the cross.

Then he takes his knife out and presses it to Craig’s throat, “Don’t fucking move, asshole.”

“Want to help?”

“Yes,” I say through gritted teeth. Just looking at Craig has me seething.

“There’s a set of drawers beside the metal table. Get a knife. Then grab the step stool and bring it over.”

When I open it, there’s a selection of knives. I stare at them, wondering how many people have been killed with these blades. I shake my head and grab a medium-sized one.

“Come over here and cut his zip ties. Don’t worry if you cut him. It doesn’t matter.”

Walking over, I notice Craig trembling, “Son. Are you really going to kill your own father? We are blood.”

Hunter chuckles, “Oh, yes I am. You wouldn’t hesitate to kill me. Why should I grant you any leniency? You took what was mine. Just tonight you had your fingers in what’s mine. It’s time to pay for your crimes, Dad.”

The way he says dad sends a chill down my spine. I’m about to meet the monster. I should probably be afraid, but I’m not.

For the past decade, I’ve known nothing but monsters. But this one is avenging my pain instead of causing it. Craig is responsible for everything. Yes, Trig tortured me for years but without Craig, he never would’ve had the chance. As glad as I am that Trig is dead, this man deserves more torture than he’ll ever get.

I reach behind him and cut the zip ties, they fall to the concrete floor.

“Take his right hand and shackle it at the top of the cross.”

Climbing the step stool, I grab his arm and try to pull it up, but he fights me, “Fucking whore.”

Hunter cuts into his neck just enough to cause him to bleed. He screeches in pain, but stops fighting me, and I attach his wrist to the shackle, locking him in. Without Hunter telling me, I move the stool to the other side and do the same thing with his other wrist.

“Let me go-o-o, I’ll give you ten million.”

He chuckles, “I have enough money to last us four lifetimes. I don’t need anything from you.”

Hunter puts his face close to Craigs and continues, “Except your blood.”

That’s when I wonder if I’m broken. This shouldn’t turn me on, but it does. My clit throbs uncontrollably.

Hunter gazes at me, “Fuck baby. Are you wet for me?”

Silently, I nod.

“Come here crazy girl. Take the knife in your right hand, hold his shirt with your left and drag the knife down the center of his shirt to cut it open. Then we can have fun.”

I do exactly as he says, but I don’t stop there. Setting the knife down on the table, I walk back over to Craig, unbuckle his pants and yank them down. Then, I do the same thing with his underwear that I did with his shirt.

He whimpers when I nick his dick, “I’m sorry.”

I glance at Hunter, and he chuckles, “That’s normal behavior, baby.
